Born and raised in Blackburn, the pair have recently opened their second store in Darwen after the success of their first store, which opened in Blackburn city centre a year ago. Paul, 27, worked in retail for five years, before deciding to invest in a Cash Generator store with his brother-in-law Michael, an economics graduate.
Paul commented: “The Cash Generator business model, which works well in all climates, impressed me, and I felt comfortable working in retail. The diversity of the financial services also provided the challenge I was looking for.
Support from Cash Generator has always been superior, with Paul adding: ‘When I first met the Cash Generator team I was really impressed with the senior staff. They had big plans for the company which have all come to fruition since I met them three years ago.
“Now there are more exciting plans for the future in place and I am looking forward to working towards those. It really is a two-way street, the more supportive, proactive and transparent the business is, the more every franchisee, including myself, wants to perform well and invest in that brand.
“Michael and I really enjoy working together and the store is a family business with everyone chipping in when necessary. The express store is a relatively new concept which has proven popular throughout the North West so we are really excited about replicating this success in Lancashire.”
