Cash Generator will start 2011 as it means to go on, with its first new store confirmed to open on 22 January.
The store, at 7 Witton Street in Northwich, will bring the retailers total number of stores to 135.
The store will be operated on a franchise basis, welcoming a new franchisee, Neil Shelbourne, to the Cash Generator network.
The opening of the first new store marks the start of an exciting year for Cash Generator. The leading discount retailer has ambitious plans to open no fewer than 50 stores during 2011, which works out at almost one a week.
The store will be a mix of franchise owned stores and company stores, owned and operated by Head Office.
Robin Page, Franchise Director at Cash Generator, says: “Discount retailers are continuing to buck the trend on the high street and we are no exception. It is super news that we have a date confirmed for the first new store of 2011 as we are starting the year as we mean to go on.
“Consumers continue to look for value for money in the age of austerity, and as such, we have identified an opportunity for dramatic growth during 2011. We are excited about the opportunity of vast expansion across the UK, growing the business.”
