Store Openings

Double the delight as Cash Generator opens two new stores this week

Cash Generator continues with its extensive expansion programme as the company opens 2 new franchise stores this week, in Cardonald and Caerphilly.

Both operated on a franchise-basis, the 2 new stores bring the total of Cash Generator stores to 124.

Colin Campbell officially opened Cardonald, in Glasgow, earlier this week.  Colin, who already operates a Cash Generator store in Hamilton, decided the time was right to expand.

Colin says: “I joined Cash Generator four years ago taking over the Hamilton store, which has continued to see an increase in revenue year on year.  As such, I felt now was the right time to open my second store.

“The site in Cardonald is perfect for a Cash Generator store as it is on the main route between Paisley and Glasgow and will attract lots of passing trade.”

Opening this weekend is the store in Caerphilly, South Wales.  Existing franchisee Steve Bourne-Smith is opening the store as a joint venture with Anthony Woodford.

Steve, who already operates 2 successful stores, in Blackwood and Bridgend, is well placed to launch his third store and advise Anthony as he embarks upon a new career with Cash Generator.

More new stores to follow, with Cash Generator scheduled to open a further 14 before the end of 2010, welcoming 11 new franchisees to the network.
